Is a “Finding Nemo” Sequel Finally Happening?

“Finding Nemo” was one of Disney and Pixar’s most successful films … plus it was a lot better than “Cars”, which got a sequel … so it’s only RIGHT that there’s finally going to be another one.

—According to reports, “Finding Nemo 2” is finally in the works.  Disney has asked Andrew Stanton to direct … even though his most recent movie, “John Carter”, did disastrously.  But you shouldn’t hold that against him …

—Stanton is the guy who wrote the first “Finding Nemo”, along with a lot of Pixar’s other successes to include “Wall E”, “A Bug’s Life”, and all three “Toy Story” movies.

—They’re looking at a release in 2016.  That would mean a 10-year-old who saw “Finding Nemo” when it was released in 2003 will be 23 years old when the sequel comes out.
